Current Events

  • The Community Support Service has settled in with Sharon and Debby establishing strong contacts across the Clarence Valley.
  • NAIDOC planning for the Grafton area is well underway. The day of celebration and unity is pencilled in for July 5th at the Grafton showground.
  • Following up from the successful visit of Evonne Goolagong-Cawley to Grafton in February, Evonne is bringing her "Hots Shots" program to town on May 24th. About 50 to 70 Indigenous children from 5 to 15 will be given basic tennis lessons and have an opportunity to meet the former Wimbeldon champion. Maybe a future star will be discovered.
