Clarence Valley Specialist Homelessness Service

Gurehlgam is a consortium partner with On Track Community Programs (OTCP) in conjunction with 8 other services across the Northern Rivers covering Aboriginal and domestic violence clients. The consortium delivers short to medium term case managed support to aboriginal people to assist then in securing and/or maintaining their tenancies.  Individual needs are assessed on a case by case by case basis and minimal brokerage is available.

The objective of the service is to assist individuals and families to secure safe and sustainable housing through the provision of 4 core responses:

  • Rapid re-housing
  • Early intervention & prevention of homelessness
  • Crisis & transitional housing
  • Intensive support to address complex needs

The service office is in the Gurehlgam building in Victoria Street, Grafton.
