Welcome to Gurehlgam !
Gurehlgam would like to acknowledge the Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr, Yaegl and Dhanggati people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay respect to all First Peoples and Nations throughout Australia.
We are an Aboriginal owned and run not-for-profit that aims to improve the life of Aboriginal people and families in Northern New South Wales.
We do this by delivering community development programs that focus on housing, domestic violence & legal advice, post-release support, and arts & culture.
Our programs aim to support our community by creating a sense of belonging, providing opportunities to connect to our culture, and looking after our communities physical and emotional wellbeing.
If you would like to know more, contact us for a yarn.
COVID Safe Plan
We have completed a CovidSafe Plan available to anyone who wishes to view this. Hand sanitiser is available throughout the building, gloves, Glenn 20, disinfectant, and cloths. You must wear a mask when entering our premises, unless you have an exemption.
