When you use the forms on this website, Gurehlgam Corporation Ltd will need to collect and store at least some of your personal data to provide optimal services or make transactions.

We haven take all reasonable steps to implement practices, procedures and systems that will keep your data private and safe and ensure it complies with the Australian law and especially the Australian Privacy Act. 

However, we have limited capacity to keep our systems up-to-date with all the constant changes in the tech world and we rely on external contractors for our technology updates.

By sharing your personal information with us, you confirm with us that you agree to us collecting, storing and using that data you have provided, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will only share your personal information publicly or to selected third parties with your written consent.

We may also use this information to contact you for special opportunities, promotional or marketing purposes, or news updates unless you opt out.


We aim to always adopt the best practices to safeguard our databases with your personal information. We reserve the right to make the necessary changes to this Privacy Policy at any time by updating this page.

What information we may collect

  • If applicable: the name and contact details of your organisation/business

  • Your user name or password that you may create when joining our website or community or company database for newsletters or client data.

  • Records of our interactions with you, including your participation in meetings, programs or events

  • Details of services or products that we provide(d) to you and how you use these services or products, or of services or products that you provide to us, including volunteering, donations and partnerships

  • Photographs and video or voice recordings that you have agreed to share with us for grant acquittals or promotional purposes.

  • Your responses to surveys forms unless you entered the data anonymousl.y

  • Your IP address, approximate location, browser type and online activity on our platforms if you engage with our website, online databases or social media when a web statistics app has been activated. This enables the apps we use, like this Wix website, to personalise your experiences.

    Any concerns?
    Upon receiving your written request, we can remove your personal information stored in our database, at least to the best of our ability. Please advise us in writing by emailing operations@gurehlgam.com.au if you have previously provided us with this information and want to have it removed from our database(s) or have questions about the use of your data.

Privacy Tips

Don't overshare

  • If you sign up for events or programs via this website, we may request your name, email address or telephone number and suburb and in some cases also your cultural heritage IF relevant for the programs we run. You may decline to share that information at all times and end your contact with our organisation..
     

  • This website (as of February 2026) offers no e-commerce transactions, no payment methods and no donation requests. We generally do not need to know your banking details.
     

  • We also generally don't need to know your physical address, gender, age, marital status and other such sensitive information when you engage with us online.
     

  • Ensure that IF you choose to share any (contact) information with us about you or someone in your care via this website, to only give out information you are comfortable sharing with our staff. At a minimum, we need a first name, a telephone number or an email address to be able to reply to any queries,

  • We will not share your (contact) information or IP address with third parties unless we have specifically asked you for permission or you have instructed us to do so, e.g. for a client intake referral. The one exception is if law enforcement produce a warrant to see individual details or IP addresses in case of a criminal investigation.
     

  • For more confidential contact and the sharing of more personal information, it is best to call our office directly and ask to speak to the relevant team for your needs.  Especially if you are a victim of domestic violence and need to protect your identity/location, you should notify our staff of that fact.
