Kin-nin-inen
(susan Island)

Our 'boomerang isle', where Gumbaynggirr Country meets Bundjalung Country

We are here for our communities

Gurehlgam is an accredited Australian not-for-profit Aboriginal Corporation.

We've been operating since 2007 to build a stronger, empowered, and culturally connected community across the:

  • Clarence Valley (Yaegl, Bundjalung and Gumbaynggirr Country)

  • Coffs Coast (Gumbaynggirr Country)

  • Macleay Valley (Dunghutti Country)

We are all connected!

What sets us apart is that we are Aboriginal-led and owned, with an almost all-Aboriginal board, management team and staff.

Our team consists of highly experienced and culturally trained solicitors, community workers, artists, hospitality managers, counsellors, and finance & admin support staff.

We also engage external professionals who feel passionate about sharing their extensive experience and knowledge (eg. in the fields of finance, business & communications) with our in-house team.
