Advocacy
Our entire team, but especially our unstoppable CEO, Julie Perkins, is a passionate advocate for our communities in regional New South Wales.
From being the Vice President of the Australian Services Union (ASU) NSW and delegate of the national Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU)'s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Committee...to representing Red Cross in Northern NSW, and directly giving expert advice to the government through the NSW Women’s Advisory Council... Julie gets the message out there about social justice, supporting victims of family violence, promoting women, and preparing for disasters in regional New South Wales.
Julie, a proud Gumbaynggirr woman from Corindi Beach / Grafton, regularly meets with ministers, human rights campaigners and a wide range of agencies to provide input and real-life examples from an Aboriginal, regional NSW and women's perspective.
Listening to First Nations people should always be the first step.
Nothing about us... without us!

Community Hub
We regularly host gatherings with yarning, healing activities and creativity for all ages, including on Tuesday mornings (organised by our Elders, who are volunteers).
Check out our events list.

Recovery support
By teaming up with Red Cross and other organisations, we can help you after an evacuation, eviction or a natural disaster with references to local services, access to support packs or with filling out paperwork.

Cultural Services
Let us help you understand the intricacies of our local Aboriginal culture and the communities we work with, and how to meaningfully do community engagement within the Northern NSW regions in an authentic, organic way.
NB By booking our services, you or your organisation will be contributing to our Social Enterprise by supporting the continuity of our social programs and advocacy for our communities.
